Unified Robotics: Bringing Everyone Together

Every two years, the Special Olympics brings together people with intellectual disabilities from around the world who have trained year-round to help transform lives by showing the pure joy, competitiveness, and emotion sports bring. This year, however, the Special Olympics featured a unique event. It’s not soccer; it’s not rowing. It’s a nontraditional sport that for many years, people with intellectual disabilities were left out of: Robotics. They are often overlooked when it comes to STEM learning, but thanks to Unified Robotics, that is all changing.
